Toolroom Machinist

Pay: $26/hr

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances for precision machining
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions on materials as machining guides
• Set up and operate mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, shapers, and other machine tools
• Adjust machining factors (speed, feed, depth, angle, coolant flow) manually or via CNC controls
• Monitor operations, detect malfunctions, and adjust as needed
• Inspect finished workpieces to ensure specifications are met
• Design and build tools, jigs, fixtures, and templates for production support
• Troubleshoot and recommend design improvements for molds and fixtures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What We're Looking For:

• Trade school training plus 6+ years of toolroom experience (or equivalent)
• Protrak experience required
• Proficiency with advanced shop math and precision measuring tools
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and written specifications
• Knowledge of Bridgeport mills, manual lathes, surface/jig/ID/OD grinders and CNC lathes, EDM sinker machines, and other toolroom equipment
