Moog is currently hiring a Systems Engineer in our Space and Defense Group. Come join a leading global supplier of motion control and electronic solutions!

As a Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Understand Vehicle Architecture, Guidance and Flight Control Components and the associated interfaces that govern the architecture.
  • Work closely with the Hypersonics Engineering team to develop model based systems engineering (MBSE) environments that capture the use case, activity, sequence and interface/block diagrams.
  • Support develop of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) systems and implementation within avionics systems.
  • Work closely with the customer to provide system trade space domain knowledge, systems architecture definition and integration.
  • Focus on technology strategy development and implementation.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor teammateswithin an expanding Hypersonics engineering group.
  • Work actively with customer Program Management in Statement of Work development and Systems Engineering teams to develop the systems architecture and interface definition for Moog Systems.
  • Work within Cameo/Magic Draw and MATLAB/Simulink to understand and exercise system models.

To be considered for the Systems Engineer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with 3+ years' relevant technical experience OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 1+ years' relevant technical experience.
  • Self-motivation, critical thinking, and strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated strong technical written and verbal communication skills.
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Cameo and system architecture experience is ideal.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $80,000.00-$130,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
