Your Role

Seattle's Brand Design team is a collaborative group of designers, strategists, and storytellers working with a wide variety of clients on projects of all sizes-from environmental graphics and campus signage systems to identity and brand strategy identity.

What You Will Do

  • As an Environmental Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the design of a wide variety of graphics, branded environments, signage, and wayfinding projects

  • You will work as a key partner on fast-paced interdisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, and more that deliver projects ranging from strategic planning to architecture and interior design

  • You will deliver creative solutions in a diverse range of markets including hospitality, retail, aviation, residential, and workplace

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Signage Design and Wayfinding or EGD with a professional degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Designor a related field

  • Experience creating detailed message schedules & location plans based on architectural construction documents is required

  • Exceptional design sense with the ability to integrate color, imagery, and typography into three-dimensional built environments

  • Detail-orientation in drawing sets, shop drawing review, QA/QC, and knowledge of materiality

  • Wayfinding planning experience including conducting research, site survey, developing wayfinding strategies, and documenting design solutions (sign type drawings, message schedules & location plans)

  • Proficiency drawing in scale and familiarity with architectural construction documents, elevations, plans, and shop drawings

  • Excellent communication skills and experience as a potential point of contact for clients, vendors, consultants, and project teams

  • Ability to multitask while remaining efficient, poised, and organized

  • Flexibility to work both collaboratively and independently on projects of all scales and types

  • Proficiency in the latest design software including Adobe Creative Suite and CAD Tools

  • Sketchup & Revit experience is preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required. Portfolios should include at least 1 project with this particular focus, and candidates should be prepared to talk to this in their interview, especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell and /or Net Zero Building certification.

*The base salary will be estimated between $84,000 - $98,050 annually plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
