Summary
Provides psychiatric evaluations for clients in the Bayview Emergency Department. Skilled in the evaluation and diagnosis of psychiatric disorders, as well as substance abuse assessments. Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality psychiatric services. Secures all necessary insurance authorizations for patient treatment. Possesses strong knowledge of mental health resources in Maryland and is proficient in developing and implementing treatment and disposition plans. Documents all clinical activities in compliance with Johns Hopkins Bayview and State of Maryland regulations.



Job Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities




  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.



  • Current licensure as an LCSW-C or LCPC.



  • Strong analytical skills to resolve problems using scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to provide empathy in challenging interpersonal situations.




Salary Range: Minimum 1.00/hour - Maximum 1,000.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
