Job Summary:

Maintain, repair and install the electrical equipment for all Snowshoe properties, resort common areas, and areas Snowshoe has maintenance contracts with. Make sure equipment is operating properly, efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all national/state electrical codes, manufacturer guidelines, and insurance regulations.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine electrical maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Assemble, test, monitor, and adjust machines for proper operation.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records.
  • Support other departments (plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, snowmaking, lifts, etc.) with electrical tasks.
  • Perform high-voltage work, including switch and transformer maintenance and line repairs.
  • Reference technical manuals and follow proper procedures for settings and operations.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operations across all facilities, reporting any unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces.
  • Participate in training, safety meetings, and licensing requirements; stay current with industry standards.
  • Provide courteous assistance to guests and staff, answering questions and offering support as needed.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Use appropriate PPE.
  • Maintain professional, friendly conduct at all times.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED


Preferred Experience:

  • 2 years as a licensed electrician with 1-year experience with 480/15kv equipment


Driving:

  • Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program
