Position Summary The Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a full-time academic pathologist to join our faculty serving as the Director of the Division of Pathology Education. Additional experience practicing a pathology subspecialty (AP or CP) is desirable. Rank and tenure will be commensurate with candidate's experience and qualifications. Duties & Responsibilities Candidates for this position must have an MD, DO, DO/PhD, MD/PhD or other equivalent degree, qualify for a license to practice medicine in Illinois, and possess board certification in AP, CP or AP/CP. The successful candidate will have an extensive background in pathology education, with experience providing pathology education in undergraduate medical education and in residency and/or fellowship programs. Interest in development or continuation of scholarly activity in education is highly desirable.
