F-35 Unit Level Reprogramming SME

Key Role:

Serve as the project lead for technical and programmatic development of F-35 unit level reprogramming Concept of operations (CONOPS), ensuring alignment with operational requirements and standards. Collaborate and execute acquisition processes in compliance with DoD acquisition policies and guidelines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deliver a transformational merge of mission data and mission planning. Provide SME support to program schedules, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the development lifecycle. Liaise with stakeholders, including military personnel, contractors, and government agencies, to align program goals with mission needs. Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering and program management teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience as a flight-rated and qualified Fighter, Bomber, or TACAIR aircrew
  • Experience with leadership and mentorship to interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to plan and execute at tactical levels
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with U.S. DoD Programming, Planning, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE)
  • Experience with interdisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge simulation solutions for pilot training
  • Experience with DoD Acquisition processes and requirements development
  • Experience in U.S. DoD Program acquisition and management processes
  • Knowledge of Special Access Programs
  • Knowledge of program management processes such as contracting, source selections, technical readiness assessments, and return on investment calculations
  • Ability to plan and execute at operational levels
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including networking skills
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
