The Sr. Director, Global Business Strategy & Operations will be a strategic leader in a newly formed team responsible for driving high-impact cross-regional and cross-product initiatives that accelerate growth and improve business performance across Vantive. This individual will partner with senior functional and commercial leaders to shape, size, and execute critical growth and profitability efforts-from initial framing through to execution and long-range integration. The ideal candidate will bring a strong strategy background, proven ability to operate independently, and experience navigating highly matrixed environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive flagship cross region and/or cross business efforts to deliver incremental growth and profitability for Vantive.
  • Build analytical models that demonstrate the impact of any initiative and develop the relevant KPIs and tracking mechanisms to identify impact through to the P&L in partnership with finance.
  • Prepare budgets for any initiative and coordinate market research, best practice gathering, or other input needed through internal and external / contract resources.
  • Run senior executive reviews and coach team members on presentation for senior executive meetings. Develop and draft materials requiring minimal review by the Global Head of Business Strategy and Operations.
  • Orchestrate cross functional teams to rapidly deliver business impact. Work 1-1, in small groups and through larger formal presentations to drive key decisions and manage to the overall business outcome required.
  • Work with the Chief Business Officer (CBO), Global Head of Business Strategy and Operations, and other key executive team members to review progress on key priorities and identify potential new initiatives to undertake.
  • Develop a small team through direct and indirect reporting. Role model a growth-oriented mindset and culture, supporting the broader cultural shift Vantive is developing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, or commercial operations, preferably in medical technology, healthcare, or growth-stage environments.
  • Proven track record in driving large-scale business transformation initiatives from design to execution.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional teams and leading high-impact projects with executive visibility.
  • Excellent financial acumen, with comfort managing budgets, modeling ROI, and building metrics-based dashboards.
  • Skilled communicator, able to engage senior leaders and distill complex issues into clear, actionable insights.
  • High tolerance for complexity, fast-paced environments, and evolving business needs.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $208,000 - $286,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
