We're seeking a Patient Scheduler to join a centralized call center team supporting multiple eye care clinics across Colorado. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity based in Fort Collins, CO, offering a fast-paced environment where your voice will be the first impression for patients.
What You'll Do: * Handle 80-100 inbound calls daily from established patients. * Schedule appointments, verify insurance participation, and provide a welcoming experience. * Make outbound calls to follow up on voicemails and respond to patient inquiries. * Work from a call queue and assist with incoming emails during downtime. * Collaborate with doctors to maximize scheduling efficiency and support patient care. * Eventually train to triage optical issues and assist with non-urgent patient questions. What We're Looking For: * Experience in a call center or healthcare scheduling environment preferred. * Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset. * Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume setting. * Familiarity with insurance verification and appointment coordination. * Team player who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
