Machine Operator (1st shift)

We are seeking a Machine Operator in our Block department for Materials Corporation in Janesville, WI.

Job Duties:

• Setup, operate and maintain concrete manufacturing machines.
• Ensure product quality at every phase of production with high attention to detail and communication with team members.
• Adjust equipment, ensure quality of materials, and troubleshoot machine problems.
• Work with basic hand tools, power tools, and tape measures using mathematical and mechanical skills.
• Operating forklifts
• Clean up as needed.

Work Environment:

• Carrying/Lifting 10 - 80 Pounds frequently
• Carrying/Lifting > 80 Pounds occasionally
• Standing / Walking / Climbing
• Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending
• Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder

Physical Requirements:

• Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions
• Work near moving machinery and equipment
• Work in a noisy environment

Experience & Qualifications:

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to identify problems and troubleshoot quickly.
• Strong understanding of production processes and ability to meet a production schedule.
• Ability to identify and react to a quickly changing environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
