Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Los Angeles, CA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Works under very close supervision, monitored task by task.
  • The work is mechanical, recurrent, routine, or repetitive.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work area.
  • Handles high and low-pressure gas cylinders and equipment within a facility and prepares cylinders for shipment.
  • Loads and unloads gas cylinders and products onto and off route trucks and trailers.
  • Handle/transfer cylinders to and from ground storage.
  • Assist production personnel in removing full cylinders from the fill area.
  • Sorts empty cylinders by type and places them in the empty inventory in readiness for filling.
  • Performs cylinder maintenance such as painting, labeling, and cleaning.
  • Inspect all cylinders for general condition and report all issues to management.
  • Checks for cylinder quantities, styles, and products, and assists with inventory tracking.
  • Report all cylinder shortages to management.
  • Review customer orders, pull items from inventory, and assist with accompanying paperwork for shipment.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $20.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Temp (4 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or factory setting.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Ability to read and comprehend MSDS, FDA, DOT, OSHA, and other company documents
  • Possess excellent customer service, verbal and written communication, and computer knowledge.
  • Be a self-starter, highly motivated, energetic, and enjoy teamwork.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Ability to perform cumbersome work, routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs., occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100lbs.
  • Will not lift over 45lbs unassisted.
  • Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motion needed.
  • Able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
  • The warehouse work area is not air-conditioned or heated.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
