Position Overview

Zelis is seeking a visionary leader to take our enterprise automation capabilities to new heights. As the Director of Enterprise Automation & UiPath Strategy, you will shape the future of intelligent automation at scale, driving transformative value across the organization.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to elevate a growing automation practice. You will lead the enterprise UiPath strategy, unify automation delivery across business units, and collaborate with engineering, data, and platform teams to embed automation into the core fabric of our operations. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking UiPath expert with a history of innovation and impact in highly regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead a comprehensive enterprise automation strategy, positioning UiPath as the central platform for scalable automation delivery.

  • Create and execute a multi-year roadmap that drives maturity, standardization, and high-impact business outcomes.

  • Establish consistent development and delivery frameworks to ensure resilient, secure, and compliant automation.

  • Partner with engineering, data, infrastructure, and operations teams to integrate automation seamlessly into core systems and workflows.

  • Optimize tooling architecture and consolidate fragmented automation efforts into a cohesive enterprise program.

  • Govern automation practices to align with HIPAA, PCI, and other regulatory standards, accounting for data access and security.

  • Build and inspire a high-performing team, manage budget and resource allocations, and communicate performance metrics to executive stakeholders.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning automation strategy with broader enterprise and AI initiatives.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in automation, including 3+ years owning enterprise UiPath programs end-to-end.

  • Deep technical knowledge of UiPath ecosystem including Studio, Orchestrator, and Automation Hub.

  • Proven success in scaling automation programs within regulated environments.

  • Demonstrated experience aligning automation with business transformation and measurable ROI.

  • Strong leadership in managing high-performing teams and navigating matrixed enterprise structures.

  • Expertise collaborating across technology and business functions to embed automation strategically.

  • Familiarity with global delivery models and data compartmentalization strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating automation platforms with enterprise data solutions (e.g., Snowflake, data lakes).

  • Track record of consolidating diverse automation technologies into a single strategic platform.

  • Exposure to AI and cognitive automation as part of digital transformation programs.

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
