Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing, Payments, and Services Manager (AR Services Manager) to join our Finance team. As the AR Services Manager, you will be accountable for managing the services and systems necessary to support Accounts Receivable such cash application tools & processes, payment management & support, invoicing and rebills, and month-end close processes. The AR Services Manager will work closely with the AR Portfolio Leaders to achieve financial goals, improve automation & reporting, and deliver better customer experiences on a scale. You will engage leaders across the company with various stakeholders leveraging the strong relationships you have built to maintain the health of the portfolio and meet the needs of the business.

What you'll do:

  • Key subject matter expert and leader for invoices and invoice delivery, including growing our automated delivery capabilities across products, subscriptions, and services
  • Accountable for cash, payment management, rebills, and month-end processes
  • Accountable for the timeliness and accuracy of cash application and rebills
  • Responsible for supporting the Finance Service Provider partnership and the ongoing operational integration of the retained and outsourced teams
  • Uses key performance metrics to monitor progress, inform business decisions, and achieve desired outcomes for retained and outsourced teams
  • Leads and manage the AR Services team, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to drive high performance and employee development
  • Ensures self/team takes accountability and ownership of problems and finding the best solution for involved stakeholders
  • Continuously evaluates and improves AR processes and tools/systems to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy
  • Accountable for month-end cash and invoicing close processes as well as support system troubleshooting and remediation steps
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to resolve customer inquiries, disputes, and requests related to invoicing and payments
  • Sets individual performance targets and hold coworkers/ Finance Service Provider accountable to those expectations

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related financial field and 7+ years of relevant AR experience including at least one year of leadership experience OR 10+ years of AR experience at least one year of leadership experience
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams
  • In-depth knowledge of accounts receivable principles, practices, and regulations, including billing, collections, cash application, and credit management
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives and implementing automation or technology solutions
  • Has a growth mindset regarding change with experience in embracing change to improve the organization
  • Acts as a supportive change agent and plans/participates in communication planning as applicable

Pay range: $ 100,000 - $ 139,200 depending on experience and skill set
Annual bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of plan
