KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Pursuit and Proposal Specialist to join our Clients and Marketing organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an engaged and responsive resource for pursuit teams throughout the audit sales cycle, contributing to significant, complex audit pursuits and proposals, with teams across multiple geographies and industries
  • Execute best practices around purposeful, customized relationship outreach efforts for significant target accounts to cultivate new, and existing connections with a wide net of individual key buyers and influencers
  • Support senior partners and core team members with strategic audit pursuit activities to articulate key differentiators, leading to a compelling value proposition; act as a liaison with firmwide resources and leverage available technologies to drive efficiencies and ensure high-quality deliverables while developing, editing, writing, and project-managing proposals from Request for Proposal (RFP) to close
  • Build knowledge of the audit pursuit lifecycle to assist in winning work; assist in the cascade of innovative approaches and ideas within the Strategic Pursuits Group team, while growing knowledge of the audit pursuit journey, tools, and content needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines nationally to bring relevant, valuable insights to team leaders throughout the audit pursuit process
  • Develop relationships across the firm to help enhance the Audit Center of Excellence, enabling broader access to resources and data with a goal of increasing consistency in the application of messaging and pursuit strategy
Qualifications:
  • Minimum three years of recent demonstrated experience in proposal/pursuit management and project management; preferably within a professional services environment; experience in audit services, sales enablement, and/or client service experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in liberal arts, marketing or communications, creative writing, project management, or related degree
  • Solid written and oral communication skills; ability to operate and make decisions based on detailed information, while working in a fast-paced environment and staying flexible
  • Independent, self-starter, and creative thinker who is extremely motivated and comfortable sharing ideas, discussing constructive feedback, and providing hands-on tactical support with a strong client service and results-oriented mindset
  • Capability to work collaboratively with all proposal stakeholders, including partners, engagement team members, editorial and graphics professionals, and offshore team members
