Job Summary

McKee Foods Corporation is seeking multiple Temporary Packaging Technicians to support our Production Department as part of a special project. These positions are temporary, expected to last up to one year, though the assignment may conclude at any time based on business needs. Technicians will work a full-time schedule (typically 40 hours per week) in alignment with production demand. This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on manufacturing experience in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

As a Packaging Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring that our bakery products are packaged safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. This is an entry-level position with no previous experience required-we provide comprehensive on-the-job training in our modern facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually repack bakery products to meet quality and packaging standards
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the packaging workstation
• Monitor product quality labeling and packaging accuracy
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

• This is a temporary assignment and may end at any time based on business needs.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and do basic math
• Good decision making skills
• Work well independently and as a member of the team
• Able to perform repetitive motions while standing for duration of entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs on a continuous basis
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good overall work and safety record

Preferred Qualifications

The following skills and experience are a plus, but not required:

• Food manufacturing experience
• Good mechanical skills
• Previous technical training
• Troubleshooting ability
• Previous machine operator experience
