Drug-free workplace/EOE See full job description below: SUMMARY The Assistant Product Specialist works with customers and prospects to determine customers' requirements for their particular application(s) and develop appropriate product specifications, quotations, and solutions for assigned products – often under the direction of an Engineered Product Specialist. Works with Outside Sales and other departments to assure customer satisfaction with our work. LOCATION The Assistant Product Specialist position requires full-time, in-office attendance, five days a week, at our Omaha, NE location during the initial six months of employment. Hybrid work may be considered after six months at the discretion of the supervisor, based on performance and business needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (and any other duties that may be assigned):
Communication Skills: The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, which are critical for daily interactions with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Engineering, other departments, and customers. The role requires troubleshooting, effectively communicating, and resolving issues in collaboration with other parties.
Tools/Software Proficiency:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Post-high school education and previous customer service or similar experience are preferred. Previous experience in handling complex customer requirements and projects preferred, but not required. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to calculate, interpret, and manipulate data on Excel and similar software packages. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required.
