Job Summary

Designs, develops and implements marketing programs and/or pricing strategies to support the organization's products and services. Uses specific marketing strategies and media (e.g., print, broadcast, digital) to launch and position products and services. Identifies and implements marketing strategies and programs in collaboration with sales and technical teams.


Essential Duties

  • Identifies and responds to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), developing a thorough response plan and providing guidance and leadership for the proposal effort. Schedules and manages the kick-off meeting to discuss proposal requirements, writing assignments, win themes, and submits revised schedules and outlines to team members shortly thereafter. Collaborates with cross-functional, multi-organizational teams in planning and developing an effective, customer-focused proposal.
  • Formulates standard/routine proposals in conjunction with team members and various functional groups. Develops engaging proposal content, graphics, and supplementary materials to visually enhance the text content. Supports and implements proposal and presentation strategies, including the creation of compelling sales verbiage (i.e. key benefits statements, differentiation strategy, etc.).
  • Manages production of all selected and approved proposals, presentations and associated graphics to include review and approval of all major department deliverables. Drives the Company's response to meet critical deadlines with creativity, professionalism, accuracy and a quality product. Takes charge of proposal efforts for projects up to $15 million, showcasing leadership in managing substantial initiatives.
  • Ensures the final response abides by established writing standards regarding content terminology, clarity, conciseness, overall style and order. Provides presentation coaching for proposal interviews.
  • Fosters and develops improvements in functional processes and procedures.
  • Captures all proposal activity and documents it in the marketing data base.
  • Creates resumes, boiler plate information and project descriptions.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but other relevant degrees will also be considered.

2 to 5 years of relevant experience

Proficiency in desktop publishing software and Microsoft Office Suite required.

Demonstrated work experience as a Marketing Coordinator or in a similar role is required.

Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools.

Experience with research methods using data analytics software.

Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management and Content Management System software.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
