Regular hours include Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Compensation Range: $20.00/hr. - $25.50/hr. *Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills* Location: Position is on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Endwell, NY. - Oversee buildings, equipment, and grounds; perform maintenance and repair, as required, including travel to Visions' sites.
- Perform a variety of routine and preventative maintenance activities including, but not limited to basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing and painting work to maintain Visions' facilities and be able to assess when third party vendors may need to be called in for more advanced work.
- Proficient in various electronic and web-based systems including Automated Logic Controls (ALC), Service Now, and other electronic platforms, as required.
- Coordinate and/or move and relocate office furniture; adjust desks, chairs and files and minor repairs as necessary in accordance with manufacturer standards and warranties.
- Assist with building maintenance contract and service work; process and contract out repair requests as directed.
- Participate in the preparation of the building maintenance budget, monitor budget expenditures.
- Requisition building maintenance supplies, material and equipment as needed; monitor inventory; load and unload supplies.
- Respond to internal inquiries made through various channels (phone, email, building maintenance ticketing system) in a courteous manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.
- Incumbent is designated as an essential staff member and required to work during periods of extreme weather and in other emergency situations. This may include snow removal and or responding to storm damage.
- Schedule preventative maintenance services; Operate a variety of hand and power equipment in a safe and effective manner; Read and interpret blueprints and plans; Monitor and evaluate the work of contractors; Work independently in the absence of supervision.
- Work hours may vary, including shiftwork, nights and weekends, as needed.
- Provides departmental back-up coverage as needed.
- Respond effectively to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies, and other processes.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma required with 1-3 years of related experience.
- Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and be able to operate personal or company vehicles in town and over long distances.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Proficient with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, PCs, etc.
