Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Sr Strategy Planning Analyst supports the project lead with the organization's strategic plans. The roles within this team operate collaboratively with Finance, Sourcing, Legal, the Strategic Partnership Management Office (SPMO), Human Resources, and various vendor partners to deliver and facilitate strategic goals. This manager group reports directly to a VP, as a result we operate dynamically to support our VP, SVP, and Data &Technology organization.

Essential Functions

  • Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analysis and other studies.
  • Coordinates input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans, best practices, and global and multi-discipline perspectives.
  • Facilitates connectivity between groups as a lead role on items of strategic importance, such as important contracts and oversight of certain partnerships.
  • Budgetary representative in association with Finance partners to facilitate P&L related items such as invoice approvals and minor budget tasks for the organization.
  • Conducts external research and quantitative analysis as required.
  • Identifies, researches, analyzes and makes recommendations to support the organization's growth objectives.
  • Conducts periodic reviews of business plans against objectives. Responsible for managing human capital forecasting needs.
  • Coordinates communications with alliance partners and ensures all deliverables are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement, or market/competitive analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Demonstrated leadership ability, analytical and critical thinking ability with time management and management skills.

* Strong sense of initiative and personal ownership of work (Operating System - Bias to Action/Limitless Belief)

* Interpersonal skills such as relationship management, communication, and inquiry to accomplish goals and achieving buy in from stakeholders (Operating System - Care)

* Prioritization skills on individual and team workloads to dynamically focus on emerging asks/efforts

* Experience with Encore and/or contract processing, emphasis on minimizing latency.

* Finance experience related to budget preparation or P&L review.
