Job Description As a Senior Data Analyst on MiTek's Distributed Construction Implementation team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data strategy for this group by driving advanced analytics initiatives. You will build data structures, manage the implementation data content, and overall own the data structure for the implementation of our product and services. This role will have the opportunity to influence and be accountable for the data integrity of the Distributed Construction Implementation team.
This role will work a hybrid schedule based out of our plant in Atlanta, GA.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements Responsibilities:
Data Strategy: Develop and execute a data strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. Advanced Data Analysis: Lead complex data analysis projects, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis. Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from multiple sources to create a comprehensive and accurate dataset. Strategic Insights: Provide strategic recommendations and insights to senior leadership based on data analysi5s. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach junior members of the data analytics team, fostering their professional growth. Data Visualization: Create advanced data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and drive cross-functional projects. Project Management: Manage and prioritize multiple data analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred; equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis. 8+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong track record of leading complex projects Must have experience in the construction, supply chain or related industry Proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Expert knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning algorithm preferred Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders preferred Strong leadership and mentoring abilities preferred Proven experience in data governance and data strategy development preferred
