Industrial Sales Manager

Responsible for maintaining and growing your sales region in industrial sales, co-pack. Duties include but are not limited to: acquiring new accounts and maintaining existing co-pack and bulk cheese customers and programs; maintaining customer service levels and relations in market area; monitoring both company and customer bulk cheese set asides; and reporting market conditions as they relate to company competitiveness leadership. Also responsible for assisting with coordinating/balancing industrial and plant bulk inventories and requirements.



  • Identify and understand the needs of the customer to effectively sell products or services. Meet with customers to build and maintain sales and customer relations.
  • Present, promote and sell finished goods and bulk cheese programs using solid arguments to prospective customers
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Research new prospects and each out to leads through cold calling, networking and other means to grow the business.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services, including forecast and monitor sales figures on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Build and maintain excellent standards with customers on pricing arrangements, providing quality product, and service along with excellent company and personal reputation.
  • Maintain internal contacts with all internal stakeholders.
  • Attend industry/business-related regional and national conventions/seminars and travel for business as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Industrial Sales, Executive Vice President, President & CEO, and other internal stakeholders.


What you can offer:



  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of industry experience and/or one year in a sales or a customer service role.
  • Must have excellent analytical skills, problem solving ability, and accuracy.
  • Excellent data entry skills.
  • Knowledge of the ERP system and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, and work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to gather information from various resources including ERP system, sales contacts, etc.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
