Position Summary Odyssey is seeking a Scientist I (PhD level) to lead the Microbiology and Molecular Genetics (MMG) group within the Diarrheal Disease Research (DDR) Department at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR). The candidate will perform a variety of primary research efforts to evaluate medical countermeasures for the prevention of diarrheal diseases through in vitro, ex vivo and small animal models in the context of the warfighter. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to:
Develop novel research protocols, procedures and methodologies through effective integration of existing literature and previous group research.
Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder with U.S. residence in three of the last 5 years Clearance: Ability to obtain NACI Education: PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology or similar program Years of Experience: Minimum 1 years of post-graduate experience Certifications: N/A Preferred Qualifications Clearance: NACI Education: PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology or similar program Years of experience: Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience Certifications: N/A Technical Skills
