Set Up Attendant

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Monitor machine safety.

Set-up production machinery based on production schedule.

Coordinate production materials (work-in-process, pallets, raw materials, etc.) with Material Handlers.

Monitor product quality.

Monitor tooling for maintenance and re-sharpening.

Assist with employee training on production machinery.

Run production after primary job functions are completed.

Perform machine maintenance activities as assigned.

Perform various duties as assigned.

Report all activities to supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED, HSED; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Secondary education level preferred, technical diploma or certificate.

Experience with CNC equipment.

Experience and ability with wood working equipment.

Understand and utilize basic math skills.

Basic reading and writing.

Read measurement and gauge instruments.

Basic computer knowledge.

Maintain lift truck certification.

Communicate effectively with various internal personnel, follow instructions, and work independently.

Demonstrate dependability, reliability, and positive work attitude.

Willing to work overtime.
