Reston, VA Pay From: $80,000 per year MUST: Experienced HR Manager Active Top Secret required 4+ years of experience in an HR Department Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, procedures. Strong ability to assess a candidate's skills and interest so as to provide insight and advice to managers during the interviewing and selection process. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build partnerships with staff. Excellent analytical, research/internet skills that creatively enhance the company's branding/marketing/recruiting programs and reduce costs. Able to multi-task, communicate progress and meet deadlines. Superior verbal and written communications skills Sound judgment, enthusiasm, can-do attitude, diplomacy, with the ability to be proactive Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and shift priorities simultaneously Strong knowledge of employment laws Excellent organization and time management skills Bachelor's required or an additional 4 years of work experience DUTIES: Proactive and dynamic human resources professional sought to manage the Human Resources department with operational effectiveness, human resources matters and recruiting efforts. The HR Manager will perform professional level duties in the following functional areas: recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. Key Responsibilities: Provide general support for various human resources initiatives as required Support new hire integration, host orientation programs, and process new hire paperwork Manage the full hiring process: recruiting, interviewing, onboarding Develop recruitment strategies and job descriptions Design and maintain pay structures and benefits packages Conduct market research to ensure competitiveness Responsible for completion and accuracy of all personnel files, including I-9's. Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies Maintain updated documentation and HR systems Conduct audits as needed and/or directed in compliance with applicable legal requirements. Assist HR with employee/personnel projects and establish various reports and documents to provide current personnel information Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database as needed Reconcile all HR invoices Address grievances, conflicts, and employee concerns/questions Foster a positive and inclusive work environment Assess training needs and organize programs Promote continuous learning and career growth Implement appraisal systems and feedback mechanisms Support employee development and goal setting Implement appraisal systems and feedback mechanisms Support employee development and goal setting Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
