Production Planner

STS Technical Services is hiring a Production Planner in Bowling Green, Kentucky, to support operations for a leading manufacturer. This is a key role responsible for coordinating the flow of materials and work within and between departments to keep production running efficiently and on schedule.

• Coordinate and expedite the movement of parts and materials across departments to meet production deadlines
  
• Review and issue work orders, staffing requirements, and production schedules
  
• Monitor workflows and work in process to ensure accuracy and conformance to standards
  
• Track raw material usage, production volume, and quality control metrics
  
• Compile and deliver reports on production costs, inventory levels, and delivery timelines
  
• Maintain inventory and requisition materials to meet ongoing demand
  
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in production flow
  

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  
• Experience analyzing labor and material costs in a manufacturing environment
  
• Ability to manage inventory and track detailed production data
  
• Familiarity with shipping regulations and production-related compliance
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant applications
  
• High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  

• High school diploma or GED required
  
• 8-10 years of production planning or scheduling experience required
  
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems strongly preferred
  
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
