Job Overview Apprenticeship Opportunity - Machinist Program We are seeking a motivated and committed individual who is eager to join our four-year Machinist Apprenticeship Program starting in August 2025. This is a unique opportunity to build a rewarding career in advanced manufacturing while gaining hands-on experience and formal education The selected candidate will: Workfull-timeat ourSolon facility, contributing to the production of high-quality gears for our valued customers. Attendrelated instruction courses at Tri-C (Cuyahoga Community College)as part of the apprenticeship curriculum. Your commitment to this program will require diligence and a strong work ethic. Successful completion of all required on-the-job training hours paired with classroom instruction will lead to achieving Class A Utility Machinist status and submission to the state in order toobtain your Journeyman card. We value skill enhancement and are resolute in fostering the next generation of machinists, dedicating ourselves to supporting your professional journey in this integral field of gear manufacturing Apprentice Hourly Rate starting at- $20.47 Qualifications/Requirements Qualifications/Requirements: A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent is required. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the apprenticeship. Authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory. A demonstrated commitment to full-time employment and a strong attendance record in all related instruction courses are essential for success. Previous exposure to a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred but not required. Basic math skills are essential for the successful completion of machining tasks and activities. Attention to detail is crucial, with the ability to identify and rectify discrepancies effectively. Safety is paramount; you must prioritize safety in all aspects of work and adhere to established safety protocols.
