Are you ready to make a significant impact in the dynamic world of healthcare? We are seeking a passionate and skilled Counsel - Healthcare Operations to provide expert legal guidance across a diverse range of healthcare regulatory and operational matters. In this pivotal role, you will support our organization's continued growth while ensuring compliance with the ever-evolving healthcare legal landscape. What You'll Do: As our Counsel - Healthcare Operations, you will be at the forefront of legal compliance and operational excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:
Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant legal experience, with at least 3 years focused on healthcare regulatory and operational law. In-depth understanding of key federal and state healthcare laws and regulations. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex legal issues in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to translate legal requirements into practical guidance for business teams. Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Prior in-house counsel experience at a healthcare provider organization, health system, or behavioral health company. Familiarity with behavioral health regulatory frameworks at the state and federal levels. Experience supporting multi-state operations and managing multi-jurisdictional regulatory challenges. Understanding of value-based care models, managed care arrangements, and payor-provider alignment strategies.
