GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This position is responsible for the professional and efficient management of visitors, vendors, telephone calls, and messages, as well as a variety of clerical duties that support the operation and presentation of a professional office. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
- Greet and direct all visitors including vendors, clients, job candidates, and teammates from other DaVita locations to appropriate destination within the building
- Ensure completion of visitor sign-in and security procedures
- Answer all incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate contact
- Handle special administrative projects as well as overflow work from the department as requested
- Keep supervisor well-informed of activities and results of efforts, problems or potential problems identified; recommend corrective actions to supervisor
- Sign for deliveries when necessary and notify recipients i.e. flower deliveries, courier, etc
- Ensure the reception station is staffed at all times; ensure reception area is maintained and is clean, orderly, appropriate for visitors and teammates
- Create temporary teammate identification badges as necessary per established standards
- Know, understand and follow the DaVita teammate handbook and safety and security policies and procedures
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
- Work overtime with little or no notice as needed
- Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
- Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
- Assist when needed for day-of tasks for Marketplace events. This includes being the point contact during the event for event hosts and vendors i.e security, janitorial, engineering and IT team
- Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Some college course work preferred
- Minimum of six (6) months' experience in a general office environment required
- Minimum of one (1) year's experience as a business office receptionist strongly preferred
- Experience with multi-line phone system
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
- Some Canva experience preferred

However, in general, the position requires the following physical activities:
- Ability to lift minimum of 2 pounds to a maximum of 20 pounds unassisted; able to sit for extended periods and to perform some standing, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, lifting; moderate range of body motions.
- Ability to hear and interact by phone and in person clearly and efficiently.

The Wage Range for the role is $19.00-$23.50 per hour.
