This role will serve as a Logistics Specialist supporting the IBCS Project Office with all efforts to conduct property accountability and ship property around the world.



Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing supply support for the IBCS program and coordinating worldwide shipment of spare parts in support of IBCS missions. The role involves working with AMCOM Logistics Center to initiate and track requisitions Additional responsibilities include tracking and processing unserviceable warranty materiel returns and managing the budget for requisitioning spare and repair parts for IBCS-specific equipment. The position requires coordination with the Property Administrator on equipment receipt, transfer, and disposition to ensure 100% accountability in DPAS and proper documentation capture, upload, and storage. Finally, the role ensures all GFX transfers to contractors are captured in the GFP Module within the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) with complete supporting documentation to meet contractual requirements.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Must be a US Citizen.
  • Possess a general understanding of Army Air and Missile Defense Systems, with focus on command, control, and communication systems.
  • 1-5 years of experience with property accountability/responsibility, inventory procedures, and operator maintenance.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in fast-paced, team-oriented working groups responding to the logistics domains of maintenance, technical manuals, training, system testing and fielding, and Human System Integration (HSI).
  • Demonstrated history of initiative and being a team player in a small team environment.
  • Must be qualified to drive wheeled vehicles with towed equipment (Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Required. Must be able to lift weights IAW MIL-STD-1472, generally 56 lbs 5 ft above the floor, 87 lbs 3 ft above the floor, and carry 82 lbs 33 ft or less. Must be able to support travel activities for field missions, materiel fielding events, and work in outdoor and sometimes harsh environments for extended periods of time. Must be willing to work overtime as required with little warning in order to ensure mission success.
  • Candidate must have a Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
