$20.94 to $23.03 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs experienced para-professional work planning, organizing, and coordinating projects relating to the development of County and/or community resources for the Public Works Department.



REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Science, English, a field related to the area of assignment, or a closely related field. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. Must have experience in creating, maintaining, and updating digital maps, graphs, layers, and reports using ESRI Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Must be skilled in reviewing and interpreting data sources and using basic GIS software functions to enter, edit, and update GIS spatial data, including points, lines, and polygons, and attribute data into databases or layers, following standard procedures. Performs data research, queries, and investigations. Assists with solving technical problems and determining possible solutions. Must have experience drawing maps using GIS and be proficient in Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ESRI GIS ArcPro, and Adobe Pro. Experience in electronic work management systems, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), LiDAR imagery and some AutoCad drawing is preferred. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
