Lab Tech Assistant

Staffmark is currently seeking a detail-oriented Lab Tech Assistant to support laboratory operations in Bentonville, AR. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a lab environment and contribute to meaningful scientific work.

Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist senior lab technicians with processing samples and performing tests
• Set up and operate standard laboratory equipment and test configurations
• Follow test plans and document results with accuracy and precision
• Record findings in detailed reports, including graphs and charts
• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment
• Operate computer systems for data entry, reporting, and analysis
• Collaborate with clients to ensure accurate testing protocols and sample handling
• Apply continuous improvement practices to increase efficiency and reliability
• Follow company policies and lab safety standards, including digital and physical security protocols

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience with lab information systems (LIS) and scientific equipment
• Prior experience in textiles, design, alterations, or working with fabric is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
