Overview:

This position is responsible for activities relating to the management of Mercy AutoCAD drawings files for all Mercy facilities. This position will organize and manage existing Mercy AutoCAD files, update existing files with "as built" information at completion of each project. This position is responsible for developing and updating life safety drawings for our facilities in accordance with The Joint Commission (TJC) Standards. This position will be responsible to forward electronically existing conditions AutoCAD files to designers and contractors for establishing baseline information for renovation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of the latest version of Autodesk families 2D or 3D "BIM", Microsoft Office, Internet, review drawings to make sure Mercy BIM standards are being followed.
• Maintain and organize all (A, M, E, P, FP) AutoCAD drawing files for all campus and off-site facilities on the Master Drawing Database.
• Maintain and update Master CAD drawing files for all campus and off-site facilities to "As-Built" condition.
• Develop working relationship with Mercy Vendor Partners. Have ability to research and provide baseline existing conditions AutoCAD drawing files to planners, architects, and/or engineers for their use on new projects.
• Design basic future AutoCAD floor/room layouts drawings to help Property Managers and Mercy Planners.
• Collaborate with and interact routinely with Facilities Maintenance, Regulatory Compliance, Planning Design & Construction, Real Estate, and other departments as required at each hospital site.
• Develop and maintain current and accurate life safety drawings for Mercy to document the life safety features of our facilities in accordance with The Joint Commission (TJC) Standards.
• Provide controlled access to building configuration documentation throughout the Mercy ministry.
• Performs related duties and responsibilities requiring similar or lesser skills as may be required.
• Perform all duties in full support of Mercy's brand.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Five to six years' experience in AutoCAD drafting and AutoCAD system management.
• Required Education: Associates degree in AutoCAD technology or computer assisted drafting.Associates degree in AutoCAD technology or computer assisted drafting.
• Other: Strong people skills, Self-starter,Effective Communicator,Strong oral and written skills,Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) skills,Able to present and interact with all levels of the organization.
