What are important things that YOU need to know about this role?
* This is a key leadership position reporting to our Chief Financial Officer.
* Seeking an experienced leader who has great communication skills and could be considered an Oracle guru.
* Hybrid position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI 2-3 days/week.

What will YOU be doing for us?
This position is accountable for the financial accounting operations of the company, to include the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

What will YOU be working on?
* Manage the accuracy and productivity of all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, and G/L within the organization to ensure all client requirements and organizational goals are met while also ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
* Manage the in-house payroll processing function.
* Manage client relationships from a financial standpoint including all monthly billings and Implement processes to meet requirements.
* Possess an advanced understanding of all client financial requirements and convey expectations, changes and requirements to staff so that processes can be developed, revised, and implemented to meet all related obligations.
* Manage the "day-to-day" banking relationships including the addition of new accounts, credit cards, and reports. Oversee the treasury function via SKYGEN's bank, working with the Chief Financial Officer to monitor cash receipt and disbursement activity and the use of the revolving credit facility, as needed.
* Oversee all month and year end closing responsibilities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Oversee the preparation of annual financial reporting requirements required for external constituents, including but not limited to customers and state regulatory agencies.
* Work collaboratively with internal staff to ensure proper processing and mailing of 1099's to specific providers.
* Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit, and support the completion of the annual audit
* Coordinate the provision of information to external tax accountants for the preparation of annual income tax returns, and support the completion of the annual income tax returns to the extent needed
* Identify, develop and implement best practices to ensure improved efficiency, cost effectiveness, and that contractual requirements are met and/or exceeded.
* Collaborate with Chief Financial Officer on different strategic initiatives to better align the departments for meeting organizational goals and objectives.
* Guide financial decisions by monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
* Foster an environment of continuous improvement through process and systematic efficiencies.
* Develop, and motivate staff. Initiate and communicate a variety of personnel actions including employment, termination, performance reviews, salary reviews, disciplinary actions, and development plans. Provide regular and behaviorally specific feedback to increase performance levels.
* Work effectively and collaboratively with peers and other internal resources in diagnosing and resolving issues.
* Update Chief Financial Officer on any significant issues in relation to clients.
* Foster an environment that focuses on ensuring integrity, respect, accountability, and superior service.
* Lead and/or participate in special projects related to finance and/or accounting matters within the organization.
* Participate in special projects related to Oracle system enhancements (ERP and/or HCM) as needed.

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* CPA License
* 5 - 7 years of experience in financial accounting and in management
* Oracle (or equivalent) ERP experience
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
* Ability to successfully lead and motivate teams
* Ability to communicate successfully with a variety of individuals

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GREAT candidate?
* Master's Degree or MBA
* Experience in managed care or the healthcare field
* Oracle (or equivalent) Project Costing Module experience
