As the Regional Operations Manager is a resource to increase net profit across their Super District, focused on sales growth and gross margin enhancements through improved pricing management, increased SPA usage/coordination, reduced product costs, and reduced overall operating expenses. This position will collaborate with other Super District resources to ensure the standardization, efficiency, and effectiveness of the processes that drive customer experience within Crescent Electric (and affiliated brands) Super Districts and branches while meeting defined key performance indicators for the department and the organization. The Regional Operations Manager will set the tone and provide a vision for their Branch Sales team. This leader will oversee three critical workstreams; meet or exceed customer expectations to enhance customer interactions/relationships, development and optimization of Branch Sales teams, and operational improvement within the Super District. Primary Duties:
- Collaborate with internal company leaders to gain support to improve processes, technology enablement, overall quality of service, and customer experience.
- Work to standardize common practices within the company, and collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent service levels to provide a best-in-class customer experience.
- Oversee workflow process improvements, new program implementation, enhanced technology deployments, organizational and cultural changes as necessary.
- Keep abreast of industry-leading tools and processes, acting as an advocate for best practices and system improvements/enhancements.
- Remove barriers, escalate issues, and provide resources needed to build and empower an effective team.
- Execute defined company strategy to enhance the customer experience and service levels; exceeding customer expectations while ensuring continued profitability of both the company and customers.
- Build an optimal team and enhance existing talent to support the design, changes, and deployment of department strategies and key initiatives.
- Lead and manage multi-level department teams across multiple geographical locations.
Qualifications:
- Strong team player who operates with high levels of integrity, trust, and respect for the
- In-depth knowledge of all facets of an electrical distributorship (Preferred).
- Experience in training, coaching, developing, and the performance management process with employees.
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field; and minimum of five years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
Physical Demands:
- Occasionally standing and walking. Most of the time sitting, use of hands/fingers, talking/hearing. Often reaching with hands/arms.
- May be required to work more than 40 hours per week.
- Ability to travel regularly through assigned territory (up to 50%), with overnight stays where applicable.
