Senior Network and Scheduling Analyst Overview:

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Senior Network and Scheduling Analyst to lead projects and implement key strategies that support Network and Schedule Planning objectives. Key responsibilities include producing and distributing final schedules for Schedule, Cargo and Charter service in all downline systems including Navitaire, AIMS, GDS, and suncountry.com.

  • Publish schedules to Navitaire, AIMs and GDS systems and communicate details company-wide
  • Process schedule changes for all lines of business while maintaining close communication with all parties affected and identifying best reprotection options for all passengers
  • Perform schedule analysis, proposals/scenarios, and schedule coordination presentations
  • Identify potential new routes: conduct market analysis, produce financial forecasts and recommend new routes for launch. Work with internal and external stakeholders and conduct research to acquire knowledge on availability of traffic rights, landing rights and competitor and airport constraints
  • Work closely with key departments to develop comprehensive launch plans that coordinates commercial and operational activities to successfully execute Sun Country's growth plan
  • Build long term (3-5 year) network and fleet plan: evaluate new route opportunities for growing the network and aircraft fleet
  • Develop, modify and manage flight schedule files using Schedule Manager while ensuring schedules satisfy all operational requirements including aircraft allocations by line of business, sub-fleets, aircraft routings, maintenance requirements, minimum connect times and minimum ground times
  • Produce long-range schedules essential in determining the future direction of the company's network
  • Perform system and display testing
  • Attend airline industry conferences to further strengthen relationships with current and future partners
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working with revenue analytics
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel


Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Business Administration, Science & Engineering)
  • Travel industry experience
  • Strong presentation and verbal skills with the ability to deliver arguments clearly and confidently
  • Possess the ability to think laterally and make decisions
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, target driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint


Compensation:

Pay range: $70,000 - $85,000 USD annually. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
