We Make Life More Rewarding and Dignified Location: Libertyville Department: Information Technology Summary: The Manager, Network Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. This role involves managing a team of network administrators, coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting network issues and resolving them, and implementing network upgrades and improvements. The role of the Network Operations Manager is crucial for maintaining the stability and efficiency of Hollister's network infrastructure. This position involves collaborating with other IT teams, the Business, vendors and partners in overseeing daily operations 24x7x365, ensuring that the network is available, and meeting the performance needs of the Business while maintaining and supporting the hardware, firmware, software of the equipment and making sure that the network is secure and resilient. This individual will have 3-6 direct reports. Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid working environment. 4 days (Monday-Thursday) onsite in Libertyville, IL is required for this position. Responsibilities: 1. Manages and develops the Network Operations teams including all aspects of the company's performance management process.
- Develops and manages team structures and resource levels to support business needs.
- Training staff: Utilizing Hollister's Development Plan procedures, ensure network administrators and technicians are properly trained in relevant technologies and best practices
- Responsible for detailed design, configuration, testing, deployment, documentation, quality assurance, and training activities associated with the company's Networkinfrastructure Operations.
- Collaborate with project management, business/systems analysts and other IT departments to develop specifications for system enhancements and functional improvement.
- Assure and implement new technologies, applications and solutions to enhance functionality and performance within planned service levels.
2. Effectively partners with other IT groups to deliver IT services.
- Works closely with global project managers both within the IT VMO team and externally.
- Works closely with the Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, Cyber and other IT and Business teams to ensure effective transition for all project related activities within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Works closely with IT Finance and IT Strategic Sourcing supporting procurement and vendor contract activities ensuring compliance within agreed service levels.
3. Maintain in-depth working knowledge of business and technology, remain current with emerging industry trends and envision new capabilities to meet business needs. 4. Develops and manages the budget for personnel and services. 5. Establishes and tracks appropriate metrics and key performance indicators. Participates in Monthly Management Review process. Documents key processes. 6. Provides technical support to all business areas globally
- Monitor and support Global IT Network performance, ensuring that the network runs smoothly, efficiently and is effective.
- Troubleshooting issues: Quickly resolving network problems to minimize downtime.
- Enforcing policies: Implementing procedures to comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain an awareness of the age and serviceability of all networking hardware and make recommendations for upgrading or replacement as needed.
- Ensures effective security, protection, operation and performance of systems.
- Protect global IT Network Infrastructure against potential security vulnerabilities and threats
- Ensure IT Network infrastructure availability of Network equipment including Azure, AWS, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, voice lines that support fax services, emergency call boxes and alerting systems and other Network equipment.
7. Disaster Recovery Preparedness and Testing
- Develops, designs, and implements activities for Global IT Networks to support Disaster Recovery planning and testing.

Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of diverse IT Network Administration and Engineering experience.
- Minimum 2 years (preferred 4 years) in a Leadership role
- BS in Information Technology, or equivalent business experience in a business-related discipline
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:
- Fluency in English is required
- Ability to execute process development, implementation and repeatable performance.
- Strong and flexible hands-on leader.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with ability to deal with difficult situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate employees to high levels of performance.
- Strong understanding of Network technologies and their successful usage.
- Experience with SDWAN, Fortigate, Zscaler, Azure Firewalls, Cisco routers, Cisco Meraki, Meraki Access Points and related technologies
- Team player who understands role within the large IT organization and is an advocate for IT.
- Strong analytical skills to participate in resolution of technology issues and manage through metrics.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required for customer service.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Associates at all levels within the organization.
- Capable of addressing customer related concerns
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Visio and MS Word
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with a variety of networking equipment platforms, to include: VPNs, IDS/IPS, Sniffer, Virtualization platforms, firewalls and call routing tools.
- Skills with Microsoft Windows, Linux, UNIX, operating systems, and enterprise storage technologies.
- Good understanding of Networking and Security principles.

- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $115,000 - $145,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
- This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Corporate Bonus Plan.
