What you will do:

The Director of Field Service Scheduling and Dispatch is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of field service technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management experience, strong relationship building and communications skills to optimize resource allocation and enhance customer satisfaction.

How you will do it:

  • Leadership and Management: (U.S. & Canada)
    • Lead and manage the scheduling and dispatch team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve scheduling efficiency and technician productivity.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Scheduling and Dispatch Operations:
    • Oversee the daily scheduling and dispatching of field service technicians to capture over $2.5 billion annual revenue.
    • Ensure optimal allocation of resources to meet service demands and customer expectations.
    • Monitor and analyze scheduling metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service:
    • Collaborate with customer service teams to address and resolve scheduling conflicts and customer concerns.
    • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling accuracy and efficiency.
    • Utilize technology and software solutions to streamline scheduling and dispatch operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and present regular reports on scheduling performance, technician utilization, and service delivery metrics.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.

What we look for:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in field service operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling and dispatching processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong experience using Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) to identify root causes and implement/sustain control plans.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience with field service management software.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with occasional travel to field locations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support field operations.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $160,000-200,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
