Top Technical Skills for Chiller Mechanics

  • Advanced HVAC/R Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, especially chilled water systems.

  • Chiller Diagnostics & Repair: Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining centrifugal, screw, scroll, and absorption chillers.

  • Electrical & Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to read schematics, diagnose electrical faults, and repair mechanical components.

Hiring Compensation Range: Is determined by the Local UA. (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
