Quality Technician

JOB DUTIES:

• Assist the Director of Quality in training and enforcing quality procedures at two sites.
• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections of product.
• Measure product with supplied gauges and complete provided inspection reports for both internally and externally produced parts.
• Audit production processes to determine capability and ensure compliance per standard work and process control sheets.
• Document non-conformances in QMS software.
• Conduct root cause analysis and identify, implement, and verify appropriate corrective actions.
• Complete PPAP, FAIR, CoC, and other documentation per customer requirements.
• Provide inspection support and training to production personnel.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of five years of hands-on quality experience in an ISO certified environment required.
• ASQ certification(s) and/or associate degree in related field a huge plus.
• Jib crane use (will provide training)
• Ability to use and read measuring equipment.
• Computer and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) skills required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-starter and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work at all levels of management.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
