Manufacturing Job Details: The Inside Sales position really does not have any travel requirements. On rare occasions, they may accompany the Outside Sales Representative for a customer visit, but these are typically local and within the Milwaukee Metropolitan area. These visits, including travel time, are completed during regular business hours. The trade shows they would attend are also held locally - venues like the Wisconsin State Fair Expo Center and Potawatomi Casino come to mind. The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining customer relationships. This role requires proactive engagement in lead generation, client account management, and sales strategy execution to support company goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Management: o Maintain and further develop relationships with assigned accounts to maximize growth and profitability. o Assist in the preparation, coordination, and follow-up of quotes. o Visit customers as needed to resolve issues and coordinate activities related to customer samples and projects. 2. Market Research and Strategic Development: o Assist in the investigation and execution of marketing efforts to promote the company's services and develop competitive advantages. o Contribute to the development of corporate vision, including support for new initiatives and programs. 3. Collaboration and Reporting: o Collaborate with internal teams to align on sales strategies and operational execution. o Report on sales activities, forecasts, and market analysis to Management. 4. Travel Requirements: o Attend internal and external sales meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed to support sales objectives. Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of two years of relevant sales experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. * Technical or sales experience in the metals industry (e.g., foundry, machine shop, metal fabrication, or processing) is preferred. * Understanding of manufacturing supply chain dynamics and marketing concepts is highly desirable. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical, financial, and legal documents. * Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and basic mathematical computations. * Ability to apply logical and scientific principles to sales challenges and business development efforts.
