To successfully oversee contracts from drafting all the way to execution
for the organization. To ensure that all contracts meet legal requirements and align with company goals. To negotiate terms, monitor compliance, and mitigate contract risks to safeguard the organization's interests.
Duties and Responsibilities: -
Management of new and existing contracts from birth to completion or expiration.
o Oversee repository
Contract drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution.
o Created new and updated existing contract templates
Support and management for sales rep agreements and independent contractor
agreements.
Provides liaison support with OEM partners to ensure compliancy to customer
contractual flow down requirements.
Acting as an information source on organization policies and procedures pertaining to legal/contract requirements.
Ensuring compliance with organization policies, procedures, planning, and billing
systems.
o Create and implement policies and procedures
o Created Code of Conduct
Oversee Foreign Corrupt Practices Act training and compliance company-wide
o Create FCPA program
Conduct risk assessments and advise business stakeholders on risk and mitigation
strategies
Support Human Resources with day-to-day needs, review of documents and forms,
ensure onboarding and separation policies are compliant with best industry practices
Negotiating terms with suppliers and drawing up agreements that satisfy all
stakeholders.
Tracking accounts and managing relationships with 3rd parties.
Working directly with global customers on behalf of the organization to achieve their mission readiness goals.
o Including foreign governments and militaries
Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related
matters.
Oversee outside counsel in relation to trademark registration and litigation
Train employees on contracts lifecycle process regularly
JOB DESCRIPTION
Advise staff on FAR/DFAR contract terms, compliance, and acceptance
Requirements:
* A minimum of 10 years of contract management experience required
* Bachelor's degree in business, prelaw, law or a related field
* Juris Doctor degree
* Relevant training and/or certifications such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager or others
* License to practice law in WI
* A strong grasp of legal terms and conditions including up to date knowledge of current laws and international rules
* Strong understanding of Federal Procurement Regulations, including FAR (Federal
Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and Supplier Clauses
* An understanding of the AS9120, ISO9001:2015 standards
* Detail-minded, self-starter with the ability to work with others
* Excellent organizational skills
* Decision-making and problem-solving abilities essential
* Excellent analytical and negotiating skills a must
* Communication and Relationship management
* Proficient in Windows Environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel
