As we expand to meet the surging demand for electricity across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, we're looking for a digital communications and social media specialist who thrives on innovation, collaboration, and making an impact. Based in our vibrant Raleigh, NC headquarters, you'll be at the heart of our regional growth story-crafting compelling content, building brand awareness, and driving engagement across digital platforms. If you love turning ideas into eye-catching visuals and strategies into results, this is your moment to shine. The selected individual will need to be in the office 2-3 days a week to support various local activities that will require social media promotion for our Raleigh HQ. How you'll make an impact
- Design and execute creative digital and social media strategies that elevate our brand
- Develop engaging content-graphics, GIFs, videos-for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and more
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to launch high-impact campaigns
- Lead social media efforts for events, tradeshows, and conferences
- Champion global campaigns locally and share best practices across teams
- Train and empower employees to be social media ambassadors
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your background
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in digital communications, social media, or marketing
- Proven success in B2B communications-energy or industrial sector experience is a plus
- Strong grasp of social platforms and tools like Sprout Social
- Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
- Project management skills with a sharp eye for detail
- (Required) Bonus points for Adobe Creative Cloud and video editing experience
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
