In this role, you will lead Dot Foods' enterprise data warehouse, business intelligence, and analytics strategy-delivering scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and generate actionable insights. You will also play a key role in advancing our enterprise AI strategy, partnering closely with the Senior Director of Data & AI to support the integration of AI-powered capabilities across the business. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive execution of analytics initiatives that align with long-term strategic goals, prioritizing work that improves operational efficiency, supports enterprise AI efforts, delivers measurable business outcomes, and promotes adoption through change management, advocacy, and ongoing value demonstration across the organization.
- Build and lead a high-performing team. Recruit, coach, and develop team members.
- Develop and oversee the budget for analytics initiatives. Manage resources and vendor contracts.
- Own the technology roadmap for business intelligence and analytics, guiding Dot's transition to a modern cloud-based analytics stack (including tools like Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, and ThoughtSpot). Ensure the architecture supports both current business needs and future AI integration.
- Partner with the Sr. Director of Data & AI and other teams to integrate operational analytics with advanced AI-driven insights. Act as a liaison between IT and business units to deliver solutions.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience with business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Cognos)
- 5+ years of experience managing and developing analytics teams
- 3+ years of experience leading enterprise analytics initiatives, driving adoption, and delivering measurable business value
- Expertise in evaluating and implementing analytics technologies and managing technology roadmaps
- Strong experience with budgeting, resource management, and vendor/consultant relationships
- Problem-solving skills with a history of translating business needs into scalable analytics solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- Experience aligning analytics strategies with enterprise-wide goals.
- Familiarity with advanced data platforms, cloud ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, GCP), data governance, and AI/ML.
- Demonstrated ability to foster data literacy and promote analytics & AI adoption across diverse teams.
- Innovative mindset with a focus on process improvement and continuous learning.
- Experience managing hybrid environments that integrate operational reporting with advanced AI-driven insights.
ROLE SPECIFICS
- Travel - Occasional overnight travel 1-3 nights per quarter for company meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
- Schedule - ability to work flexible hours; may include evening & weekend hours as needed.
