Summary
At DSV Air & Sea, The Tender Assistant supports the pricing and tendering process by performing administrative and data-related tasks for new and existing business opportunities. This entry-level role helps ensure accurate and timely responses to RFx (Request for Quote/Proposal) requests while supporting internal coordination with air, ocean, and road procurement teams. The Tender Assistant must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while learning the fundamentals of pricing, global logistics, and tender processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Support the Tender team with data entry, document organization, and RFx coordination tasks.
* Populate pricing templates with pre-approved rates and billing rules under supervision.
* Maintain digital and physical file structure per department standards for active tenders.
* Assist in tracking deadlines and updating "Work in Progress" (WIP) reports for active bids.
* Coordinate with internal departments (Air, Sea, Road, Customs Brokerage) to collect data needed for tender submissions.
* Learn and use pricing systems and communication tools, including Sourcify and Excel-based templates.
* Attend internal meetings as requested and take clear, concise notes for reference.
* Review incoming pricing requests and route them appropriately within the team.
* Assist in updating pricing tools and rate sheets as directed by the Tender team.
* Identify incomplete or missing documentation and escalate to the leadership.
* Perform general administrative tasks to support the pricing team

Skills & Competencies
* Basic knowledge of logistics or supply chain terminology preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple administrative tasks.
* Willingness to learn and grow into a more advanced pricing or coordination role.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.

Educational background / Work experience / Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
* 1-2 years of administrative or logistics support experience, preferably in a freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain setting.

Language Skills
* Business fluent in English
* Preferably good command of local language

Computer Literacy
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others)
* Good knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (MS Dynamics) Tools

Physical and/or Mental Requirements / Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand. The employee is often required to walk and use hand and eye coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Hours and Environment
Normal working hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, however, working beyond these hours will often be required by business needs.

For this position, the expected base pay is:$22.50 - $30.50 / Hourly. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
