About this opportunity:

The African American Studies Program is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty position for the Fall 2025 semester to teach one three-credit-hour course of Intro to African American Studies.

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

What you'll do and what you'll bring:

Position Function:

Teach one asynchronous online three-credit-hour course, AFAM 100, for the fall semester beginning on August 18, 2025, through Friday, December 15, 2025.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's in African American studies or a related field from an accredited college or university by the time of employment.

  • Teaching Experience
