Mainframe Developer Salem, OR (100% Remote) 12 months - contract Part-time (4 hours a day-8am-12pm) THIS IS PART TIME FOR 1 YEAR SCHEDULE WILL BE NEGOTIATED WHEN SELECTED Job Responsibilities: Computer systems specialists provide technical guidance for the development and troubleshooting of computer systems. Identify system data, hardware or software components required to meet user needs. Develop guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams. Require a bachelor's degree in a related area with at least at least 6 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. The agency requires a mainframe developer who has at least three (3) years of experience with the operations and maintenance of financial systems. The Contractor shall: Perform software system development related to enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades. Provide software and system support for break/fix and bug repair. Develop maintenance documentation for coding and break/fix resolution. Provide quality assurance and testing of code. Provide knowledge transfer to appropriate personnel related to system functions and changes implemented.
