JOB SUMMARY

The Project Executive is responsible for pursuing and recommending multiple mission critical projects within a geographic area. Responsible for guiding full project teams in growth, business development, retention of current markets and improving earnings opportunities.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • A working knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through completion of a five-year electrical apprentice program or related field; and
  • Ten years' experience in Project Management


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Leadership experience in a field environment
  • Construction management degree
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Experience in mission critical markets

  • Demonstrated financial analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office

  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
  • Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance * Opportunity for travel may be available


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Leading multiple projects and the associated project teams within the company framework to set and meet market growth and financial goals.
  • Manages operational areas assigned to support major organizational impact
  • Implement and assess methods that support the creation of new opportunities to support Company goals.
  • Maintain a constant search for alliances, and business investment opportunities consistent with achieving the Company's overall goals
  • Establish and lead overall strategic initiatives in assigned market/geographical area to continuously generate contacts and maintain an understanding of the company market areas
  • Lead negotiations with prospective and/or existing business partners or customers
  • Make presentations to executive management within the Company and the corporation and to prospective business partners or customers.
  • In conjunction with the Executive team, participate in the development of the Company strategic plan
  • Direct project teams in assigned areas to maximize cohesiveness, growth, and career opportunities for those team member
  • Responsible for financial and operational improvements required to increase profitability
  • Responsible to ensure approvals to requisition equipment, materials, and supplies within limits budget
  • Leads and sets the example for compliance of administrative policies, procedures, and safety rules for all team members in assigned area.
  • Build talent and develop subordinate personnel to optimize succession plans
  • Responsible for cost to complete of Project Leaders in assigned market area
  • Review project managers performance results, lead direct reports to improve results while maximizing resources
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned
