Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Palm Bay, FL, TN. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Responsible for performing inspections, tests, and audits of purchased parts, units, and materials, for incoming parts in receiving.
  • Verification of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing against engineering drawings.
  • Utilize measurement devices such as Calipers, Height Gauge, Optical Comparator, micrometers, scales, and dimensional measurement systems.
  • Utilize surface plates, precision measuring tools, gauges (blocks), and other mechanical inspection tools/tooling.
  • Access drawings and inspection instructions; document non-conformances.
  • Visual inspections of hardware using a microscope and a magnifying lens.
  • Review Supplier documentation for adherence to Quality Clauses and Drawing Notes.
  • Initiate a nonconformance report describing and photographing discrepancies.
  • Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and the build of assemblies.
  • Reviews and reports performance data. May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.
  • Fully proficient in supporting individual contributors.
  • Works under limited supervision.
  • Resource to other employees in areas of expertise.
  • Assignments are moderately difficult, requiring some judgment.
  • Less detailed instructions are provided, and minimal peer review is needed.
  • Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach an agreement.
  • Work should be structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
  • Follows established processes to complete tasks.
  • Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.
  • Resolves most issues.
  • Works to achieve operational targets within the job area, which has a moderate impact on the team's overall results.
  • Work is of moderate scope, typically on larger, task-related activities.
  • Quality Inspector will inspect incoming hardware in accordance with the applicable specifications /drawing requirements and review Supplier documentation.
  • The inspector will identify and document non-conformances.
  • The inspector will utilize measurement gauges, inspection instruments, and microscopes to perform inspections.
  • Incoming inspection for all commodities, including Mil Spec, Electrical, Mechanical, PWBs, and more.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 / hr.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week.

Length: Temp to Perm (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 years of GD&T experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • IPC standard training.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Teamwork.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to drive due dates across the facility.
