Security Requirements

Must be a US citizen or a legal resident for three of the past five years. Public Trust cannot be granted without meeting the residency requirement.

Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance (moderate risk), including a soft credit check and criminal background check. Please refer to the criteria listed in 5 CFR 731.202 to understand the Public Trust suitability requirements.

Job Summary

Cobec is supporting the FAA's BNATCS initiative, a nationwide transformation of air traffic control infrastructure across 4,600+ sites. This includes deploying thousands of new radios, modern radar systems, enhanced runway safety technologies, and six new control centers-all unified on a single operational platform.

Preferred Skills

  • Technical, business, or programmatic experience and expertise
    Proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and other MS Office Products.
  • Willingness to exercise judgment under uncertainty.
  • Demonstrable analytical skills.
  • Interaction skills represented by the ability to relate, cooperate, and communicate with different kinds of people including executives, sponsors, colleagues, team members, developers, vendors, learning and development professionals, end users, customers, and subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Experience interacting with clients, working in hybrid groups with external teammates. Working within those relationships with integrity.
  • Experience with Federal Government systems engineering specifically related to large systems acquisition within the FAA.
  • Strong initiative and follow-through
  • Adaptability to new technologies and complex systems
  • FAA technical or programmatic experience
  • Background in aviation or air traffic systems

Travel

Occasional travel required as needed by client/s and/or company
