THOR Solutions is actively seeking an
Engineering Technician with electrical and mechanical experience to support Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) refurbishment and rebuild for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in
Panama City, FL. An ideal candidate will possess experience supporting engineering efforts for a major NAVSEA, NAVAIR, Navy, or DoD equivalent program.
This is a temporary position, with an Mid/Late August 2025 start date and expected Mid/Late January 2026 end date. Typical responsibilities include:
Secret Security Clearance Eligibility Required:This position requires eligibility for a DoD Secret security clearance. A qualified candidate will either already possess an active or Interim Secret clearance (preferred), or be eligible to obtain a new Secret clearance upon hire. Typical Physical Activity: Repair and refurbishment activities in an engineering lab environment. May include: repetitive motion, soldering in a ventilated space, and maneuvering large objects up to 50-70 lbs with human/equipment assistance. Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
